Master Mix

10 c flour
5 t salt
5 T baking powder
1-1/2 c shortening
3-1/2 c dried milk

Mix dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening. Store in air tight container. Can be use for biscuits, piecrusts, etc.

This is homemade version of Bisquick® (although Betty Crocker® might have some words about that), and we used it for just about everything when I was a kid.
