Breakfast Cake
3 c flour
1 t soda
1/2 t clove
1/2 t nutmeg
3/4 c honey
3/4 c evaporated milk
1/2 c milk
3/4 c brown sugar
Sift flour, measure & sift with dry ingredients. Combine honey with the milks. Add liquids as for muffins. Pour into greased loaf pan (8-1/2 x 5). Bake in slow oven (300°) for 1-3/4 hours. Cool before serving.
